Fragrances and cosmetic products contain ingredients that may cause
irritation, sensitivity, headache, respiratory discomfort, or an
allergic reaction in some people. A reaction may occur even when a
product is authentic, properly manufactured, and suitable for most
users. Elixir Perfume cannot predict an individual reaction or provide
medical advice.
Before purchase and use
The customer and intended recipient must:
- review the information available on the product page;
- carefully read and follow all writing, symbols, ingredients,
directions, cautions, and warnings printed on the perfume box and bottle
label; - review any manufacturer insert, seal, batch-specific notice, and
accompanying packaging before opening or using the product; - contact the manufacturer for more information when there is a known
or suspected allergy, sensitivity, asthma, skin condition,
pregnancy-related concern, or other medical concern; - consult a qualified healthcare professional when appropriate;
and - not use the product when its packaging, seal, appearance, odor, or
condition suggests damage, leakage, contamination, or tampering.
The delivered product label, perfume box, package insert, and
manufacturer warnings must always be followed. If they differ from a
general website description, the delivered manufacturer warning and
directions control.
Safe use
Use the product only for its intended cosmetic purpose and exactly as
directed. Avoid the eyes, ingestion, application to broken or irritated
skin, inhalation of concentrated spray, flame, excessive heat, and
access by children or pets. Store the product according to its packaging
and manufacturer instructions.
Do not continue using a product after irritation or an unexpected
reaction becomes apparent. Stop use and contact a qualified healthcare
professional. For difficulty breathing, facial/lip/tongue/throat
swelling, fainting, or another emergency, call 911 or seek emergency
medical assistance immediately.
Customer
acknowledgment and responsibility
By affirmatively checking the required checkout box and placing the
order, the customer confirms that the customer:
- has read and understood this Notice;
- understands that individual allergies and sensitivities cannot
always be predicted; - will read and follow the writing, symbols, directions, ingredients,
and warnings on the delivered perfume box, bottle, label, and inserts
before use; - is responsible for determining whether the product is appropriate
for the customer or intended recipient and for obtaining medical advice
when appropriate; and - accepts responsibility for the ordinary disclosed risks arising from
known allergies, individual sensitivity, misuse, improper storage,
alteration, failure to read warnings, or use contrary to manufacturer
instructions, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Elixir Perfume is not responsible for a reaction caused solely by an
undisclosed individual allergy or sensitivity, misuse, improper storage,
unauthorized alteration, or use contrary to the packaging and
manufacturer instructions, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
This acknowledgment does not eliminate a right or responsibility that
applicable law does not permit the parties to waive, including
responsibility arising from Elixir Perfume’s own fraud, intentional
misconduct, false or misleading representation, shipment of an incorrect
product, unauthorized alteration, or failure to communicate a known
material safety warning.
