The Best Lattafa Perfumes: 12 Bottles Worth Buying (and Who Each One Is For)
Khamrah, Asad, Yara, Badee Al Oud and more. Our honest guide to the best Lattafa perfumes, what they smell like, how long they last and who should buy each one.
We sell more than a hundred Lattafa fragrances, and the question we get most is simple: which one should I buy first? Lattafa makes so many scents, at such friendly prices, that it is easy to end up with a drawer full of bottles you never wear.
So here is our short list. These are the twelve we recommend most often, grouped by what they smell like, with a straight answer on who each one is for.
Why Lattafa is everywhere right now
Lattafa is a perfume house from the UAE. For years it was mostly known in the Middle East, then Khamrah blew up on TikTok and suddenly everyone in the US wanted to try it. What people found was a brand that makes rich, long-lasting Eau de Parfums in big 100 ml bottles, usually for well under $50.
Are they as refined as a $300 niche bottle? Not always. Do they smell great, last all day and get compliments? Very often, yes. That is the whole appeal.
If you like sweet and warm
1. Khamrah
The one that started it all. Cinnamon, dates, praline and a boozy, almost rum-like warmth. It smells like a holiday dessert in the best way, and it lasts for hours. If you only buy one Lattafa, this is the safest bet. Works on anyone, best from October to March.
2. Khamrah Qahwa
Khamrah with a shot of coffee and cardamom. A little less sugary, a little more grown up. If you found the original too sweet, try this one.
3. Eclaire Pistache
Pistachio, milk and caramel. Light, creamy and very easy to like. Good for anyone who loves gourmand scents but does not want something heavy.
If you want something darker and more masculine
4. Asad
Black pepper, tobacco, coffee and vanilla over a smoky amber base. Asad is the Lattafa most men end up loving: it is bold without being sweet, and it performs like a much more expensive bottle. Great for nights out.
5. Asad Bourbon
Asad, warmer and boozier, with a bourbon-like richness. Save it for cold weather.
6. Fakhar Black
The fresh option of this group. Apple, lavender and woods, clean enough for the office, with enough depth to stay interesting. If you need one Lattafa you can wear to work, this is it.
If you like soft, pretty and feminine
7. Yara
Pink bottle, creamy vanilla, orchid and a tropical fruit note. Yara is soft and comforting, and it is the Lattafa women ask us about most. It does not shout, so it is easy to wear every day.
8. Teriaq
A richer, more sensual choice: honey, apricot and leather with a warm amber finish. Think evening dresses and dinner reservations.
9. Ana Abiyedh
"I am white" in Arabic, and it smells like it: clean musk, soft powder and white flowers. The most understated scent on this list, and perfect if you like smelling freshly showered.
If you are curious about oud
10. Badee Al Oud Sublime
Apple, lychee and rose over a soft oud. A very friendly way to try oud, fruity on top and smooth underneath.
11. Badee Al Oud Amethyst
Rose and oud in a richer, more traditional style. If you already know you like oud, go straight for this one.
12. Musamam
Saffron, rose and woods, warm and slightly smoky. It is the most "Arabian" of the twelve, and one spray is enough.
How long do Lattafa perfumes last?
Most Lattafa scents are concentrated Eau de Parfums, and on skin you can expect 6 to 10 hours from the sweet and oud ones. The fresher scents fade sooner. Spray on clothes and they last into the next day. Our guide on how to make perfume last longer has a few more tricks.
